I had an absolutely wonderful birthday. Well, my actual birthday was business as usual ... Alia to school, Max to Gymboree, teaching at the Rec Center. But, the following day was PERFECT. The kids went to Jamie's house, Jason surprised me with an amazing spa day and he spent the entire day cooking an outstanding dinner. I also got a new flat iron (sounds boring, but I wanted one so bad) and Jason got us tickets to see the new Cirque show and set up a babysitter and everything - May 5th! I was totally spoiled rotten. Hands down, best birthday ever!
First course - crab cakes
Main course - steak and Brussels sprouts, with a yummy cheese sauce
Dessert - chocolate bread pudding w/ caramel sauce
